Don't get us wrong, we love an ambitious goal here at Pleasant State, but is anyone else starting to feel that the culture of New Year's resolutions is starting to feel a little unhealthy?
The pressure to set New Year’s resolutions that are very goal-oriented is real: Save money, get fit, change jobs, stop drinking.
While there’s not necessarily anything wrong with these goals, it can be more helpful to focus on the journey rather than the destination. Examples include, more home cooked meals with friends, do exercise we enjoy, reduce our plastic consumption or start reading books. It's important to set intentions that make you feel good while being realistic and achievable!
So how do we set healthy goals for 2024!?
